Within this discipline a thematic framework is formulated that must include both the intermedial as well as the aesthetic and cultural dimensions of the subject field of the programme. The framework is determined by a person in charge of the project and a team of teachers in collaboration with the students. Independently and in collaboration with others, the students formulate and conduct an examination project from a defined thematic framework pertaining to the intermedial, aesthetic and cultural material and issues of the subject. A final presentation seminar is agreed upon in which the examination project is presented in writing as well orally, and in some cases through other communication forms according to agreement.

The aim of the discipline is practical organisation and a concrete, creative test of single- and multi-medial expressive dimensions (text, picture, sound, staging) applied as operational modes in the work with a large trans-aesthetic production. The process will result in the presentation of a "work", and will also be the object for an analytical examination with regard to operational mode, communication and organisational potentials.

The aim of this discipline is to train the student in written and oral communication, its techniques, genres and target groups. An introduction is given to communication theory, rhetoric and analysis of discourse, and through written and oral assignments the student works with communication forms relevant to aesthetics and culture.
