As several scholars have pointed out, until recently women and gender were invisible in studies of migration. This course is concerned with the dynamics of gender in migratory contexts and the complex responses of women and men to experiences of dislocation. The course will include films, ethnographies, and personal narratives. 1.000 Credit Hours 1.000 Lecture hours Levels: Graduate, Undergraduate Schedule Types: Primary Meeting Undergraduate College College Africana Studies Department Return to Previous New Search
